As co-director of the seminar, he presented a paper entitled “But What if the People Are Stupid? Global Governance, European Elites, and the Fight Against Democracy.”

His presentation examined the tension between democratic legitimacy and technocratic governance within contemporary Europe, exploring how elite-driven narratives of global governance increasingly marginalize popular sovereignty and democratic participation.
