At a conference in Vienna organized by the Center for European Studies of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in cooperation with MODUL University, MCC–MKI Director Misa Djurkovic took part in a discussion on the European integration of the Western Balkan countries. The event, part of the Western Balkans First series, gathered senior officials and experts from the region to reflect on the slow progress of enlargement and the future of EU–Balkan relations.
The Director of the MCC–MKI Center, Misa Djurkovic, took part on Thursday, October 16, in Vienna at a conference from the Western Balkans First series, organized by the Center for European Studies of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in cooperation with MODUL University Vienna.
Djurkovic spoke on the panel titled “Waiting for Godot”, which focused on the European integration of the Balkan states. Other participants included Filip Ivanović, Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro; Miroslav Gačević, Assistant Minister for European Integration of Serbia; and Dr. Marija Ristevska from Skopje.
A second panel was dedicated to the costs and justification of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
